Where will be the next full-on combat zone?

With post 9/11 wars seemingly coming to end, where and when do you believe the next large scale combat theater be?

I'm going out on a limb here and predict somewhere in Africa. Do I have to get more specific? It seems that Africa is becoming the focus of several destabilizing influences (as if it needed any more). China and Islamic Terrorists are moving onto the continent.

It will be over land initially, and food/water after that. Not in our lifetime hopefully, but real estate is being lost daily due to rising water, and they aren't making any more. Where? No idea, but Africa has a lot of raw materials.

I cannot predict any specific global area,but know for certain it will be someplace very dry,or very wet,or very hot,or very cold,or mountainous,or urban or any combination of these because we always find ourselves in some god forsaken hellhole fighting for people who hate us and then returning home to people who at best treat us with distain and distrust,sorry just the musings of an old Vietnam Vet,sick of all these endless wars.

South West Asia and Northern Africa some where around 10 years from now when a Socialist US President permits the construction and implementation of a nuclear device. However, It could be anywhere but the cause will be from a nuclear attack.

I would say in the Pacific! China has been quietly building up ocean like platforms, similar to oil rigs . And stationing troops and surface to air/ surface to surface missile platforms to challenge the U.S. warships and aircraft. Plus china has been the asiatic bully, to the weaker island nations that have very little defense against such a power house. China also knows the influence of the United states has been reduced in the region. More and more Pacific nations are aligning with the Chinese to form a sort of "Kings of the East " Consortium. While the US aborted their babies, there by cheating it's self out of future men and women to serve. China has been birthing 3 times as many children. Soon China will be forced to expand and take lands and property from other nations. Australia and Taiwan will be prime targets for invasion. But US can do little conventionally against China without resorting to nuclear weapons in order to hold back the chinese against a vastly out number Western world. In a rush the Chinese can muster a 100 million soldiers and that's if you catch them by surprise. It will take several Western nations to come together to even come close to matching that and what will you do when a second 100 million come behind at 1st 100 million?

Wherever god forsaken place it is, it will start over natural resources of the region (poppy, oil etc).
I just pray that we have the resources, logistics and leadership enabling us to deploy effectively and engage quickly. In the 60s we were still training troops in conventional warfare. It's a different world now and we need to quickly have capability to pivot to whatever theatre type we end up in (CBR, Cyber, Maritime, Jungle, etc).
