I think Iran poses a strong threat, Syria, North Korea. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a major conflict happen in Mexico over the drug cartels. Depending on how we work to rebuild our military it can affect where and what we face as our next major conflict. If we are perceived as being weak and other would be Superpowers decide to flex their muscle regionally we could see action in/around Asia. I could see an alliance forming between Russia and China to counter the perception that having one Superpower is dangerous for the world (they've also attempted to push for a replacement of the dollar as the world's reserve currency). But I don't think the terrorist groups in the Philippines are content in what they're doing. Syria isn't happening. But North Korea is the only likely scenario. Kim Jong-Un is still trying to be recognized on the world stage and he killed his own uncle. We definitely have to keep a close eye on him.
