My father don't talk to me for some reason, my mother is in chemotherapy in Poland and brother lives in California. So I get to spend this Thanksgiving  with my step mothers sister house and her two sons and her brother.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The 1st fifteen years of my career, I spent every birthday either in the field or deployed somewhere, but with the exception to combat tours, I pretty much spent Thanksgiving with either family or friends or my military family. So it is a holiday that I actually relish more than any other. This will be the 2nd year in a row I will be in my own home with my family instead of someone else's for the holiday, and it feels really nice. Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving and for all our deployed brother's and sisters, stay safe and come home.
