Where will you be on thanksgiving?

To all serivce members and veterans of all branches, Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

As for me, I like to say I will be with my family for the whole day, but I don't know yet if I will be working. As a veteran in my job, I'm looked as some one who can handle any mission any task regardless of how ridiculous it may be.

I'll be home with my some members of my family. My father don't talk to me for some reason, my mother is in chemotherapy in Poland and brother lives in California. So I get to spend this Thanksgiving with my step mothers sister house and her two sons and her brother.

The 1st fifteen years of my career, I spent every birthday either in the field or deployed somewhere, but with the exception to combat tours, I pretty much spent Thanksgiving with either family or friends or my military family. So it is a holiday that I actually relish more than any other. This will be the 2nd year in a row I will be in my own home with my family instead of someone else's for the holiday, and it feels really nice. Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving and for all our deployed brother's and sisters, stay safe and come home.

SSG Pabon, wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving! This year I'll be away from until this spring/summer, so a few phone calls and video calls (my son loves the video calls, always reaches out for the screen) are all on the schedule for today, and hopefully some good ol' Boston Market or KFC with any luck!
