I plan on still being in the Army. My goal by then is to be promoted to MSG by then. If I decide to retire in 3 years, I will probably be back in the Philadelphia are working toward my next career.

I'd like to be a MSgt in 5 years...I don't think I could make SMSgt that fast...but I sure am going to try.

In 5 years I would like to be almost half way through medical school at USUHS.

My goals for the next five years are to grow more proficient as a Leader, and a Mentor to young Soldiers. As well as brush up on basic soldier skills, and be on the track to Drill Sergeant. Of course, this would be to include picking up E-6, and continuing to grow professionally. Time allowed, being over halfway to completing a Bachelors.

I know that being on the track to Drill, it might make time scarce for the Civilian Education, but I've recently found a renewed hunger, and vigor for my professional goals, and I think it can be obtained.

My primary plan:

In five years I want to be steady in my second career with a solid plan for a second and full retirement. I would like for that second career to be in a management field that will in some way be able to influence and help transitioning brothers and sisters in arms.

My secondary plan:

Win the lottery and go fishing!

In five years, I would like to have finished my bachelor's degree and earned my commission.

As soon as I finish my BOLC and other training necessary for life as an officer, I'd like to begin furthering civilian education.
