Which Army Reserve retirement option do I take?

Is this right? HRC website says I am authorized $900 for my Army Reserve pension?

No one can answer your question without the information.

I don't know anything about the website, but, assume it is legitimate.

You can check by calculating yourself.

Divide the total points you have by 360

Multiply by 2.5%

That is the percent you should receive.

1SG Michael Blount, that cannot be right. I don't want to ask you for all the information you put in, but my rough estimate comes out to much more than that (in 2040 dollars).

very likely it is correct.
You have to remember that even in the reserves/NG retirement is based on points
60 points a year
6 years = 360 points/ 1 year AD
that is a normal year
I had a CMSGT retire with 20 years and only get about $800
So print out your points and break out the 214's and make sure you have all your points

Your points should tell you or give you an idea about how much you receive. Make sure you get all of your points accounted for. Another thing, if you retire before age 60, go retired reserve, if not retired pay will be based off of date retired. Good luck

The site you have listed is one of the correct sites for HRC Retired Reserve calculators.
This one only provides dollars in current day, you can go to one through your HRC account that will provide an estimate at age 60, when reservist are allowed to receive retirement.
In your Records file off the 2x citizen/HRC site you can get your total retirement point count.

Your pension will be based on the number of points so the more active duty you have done, the more it will be vs. someone of the same grade but with less points. Make sure every point is accounted for by HRC. Also, if you have done any mobilizations since January 2008, your retirement will start 90 days earlier for every 90 days you have done. I just got my reserve retirement ID card last week and the DEERS lady told me to contact HRC a year out from my retirement so HRC can cut the final orders. Without those, you will not get Tricare.

If I was you. My first stop will be on my points summary. Going trough active ( if you was) points DD214 them time on deployments (if any) and last year by year them correct them and after if everything is right retire with viluntary recall for activation which as a senior you could be call anytime!!

It based on points but you can contact hrc for assistant.
