Why do you want to go 11B?Response by SSG Rick Miller made Jan 8 at 2020 6:46 PM2020-01-08T18:46:37-05:002020-01-08T18:46:37-05:00SSG Rick Miller5426546<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>After reading your question again, something just ain't right. If you are reenlisting, why are you talking to a recruiter, and why are you going through MEPS? Those are for brand new troops, not a reenlistment.Response by SSG Rick Miller made Jan 8 at 2020 6:50 PM2020-01-08T18:50:44-05:002020-01-08T18:50:44-05:00LTC Kevin B.5426564<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You need to find a new recruiter. Any real recruiter should be able to answer that question instantly. Plus, even if they couldn't answer it, their job is to quickly get you that answer. That should take them no longer than 2 seconds.Response by LTC Kevin B. made Jan 8 at 2020 6:55 PM2020-01-08T18:55:56-05:002020-01-08T18:55:56-05:00MAJ Javier Rivera5426629<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Are you re-enlisting or enlisting? If spending a lot of <br />your time in garrison training in the field, doing<br /> ruck marches with heavy weight, having a pretentious team leader always in your business because nothing you ever do seems to be right sounds up your alley; then the Infantry is for you.<br /><br />Infantry OSUT is done at 198TH Infantry Brigade Fort Benning, GA and is done in a 22 week training cycle. That's like a baker not knowing that flour goes into a cake. <br /><br />It's irrelevant what base you train at. You won't see any of it other than barracks and woods, and your friends and family won't be coming to visit other than your graduation. The only thing that really matters is which base you go to after, and that you start doing PT now to stay ahead of your peers. The infantry is very physically demanding and more than any other job you are judged on your ability to carry a ruck, run, and do PT.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 9 at 2020 2:27 AM2020-01-09T02:27:57-05:002020-01-09T02:27:57-05:00CPL Gary Pifer5427475<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Funny Post....Response by CPL Gary Pifer made Jan 9 at 2020 3:44 AM2020-01-09T03:44:17-05:002020-01-09T03:44:17-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5427821<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Fort fucking Benning...Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 9 at 2020 7:02 AM2020-01-09T07:02:59-05:002020-01-09T07:02:59-05:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member5428129<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Everyone in the Army knows where the Infantry Train.
