Additionally they would have terrain and battle rides they would take the officers out on to past battlefields to learn past lessons and strategies. Hopefully the Army has not abandoned this as in my view it was valuable. However, that branch was Infantry, I see your in Transportation.........you should still ask at the Bn Level and see.
