As a professional in the medical field I have heard background discussion of the ACHE (American College of Healthcare Executives). After talking with one of my supervisors I was convinced that joining this group was worth the time and money.

Are there any good organizations that either provide a worthwhile contribution to the community, professional development for my career, or simply have benefits worth being a part of? Which Civilian Military organizations are worth joining? 2014-08-21T08:49:35-04:00 MAJ Private RallyPoint Member 211257

I am currently a member of the VFW and wasnt planning on joining any new organizations in the near future. They have done a lot for the Guard here in this great state. Regardless of which one you join I would recommend that they are doing good and are not just a group taking advantage of the situation. There are a lot of military groups out there that offer nothing but dues and fees.
