It's been edited so that it is literally "Strykerized"(not a word, but it's in there) because the unit was mechanized when they came up with it. I also dislike it because at certain points it that openly call out the Infantry, because, this was once a purely cav unit I guess. There's a line that says "Well we're glad to know the Infantry are behind us, they'll have to eat Cavalry dust just to find us..." It's terrible, and literally no one likes it. Response by SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 28 at 2014 7:43 AM 2014-02-28T07:43:54-05:00 2014-02-28T07:43:54-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 66490

SGT Collaro, I may be a bit biased since I've only been in one division. I will never forget "Screaming Eagles", which is the song for the 101st Airborne Division.

SCREAMING EAGLES

We have a rendezvous with destiny.

Our strength and courage strike the spark

That will always make men free.

Assault right down through the skies of blue;

Keep your eyes on the job to be done.

We're the Soldiers of the hundred-first;

We'll fight 'til the battle's won!

Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 28 at 2014 8:49 AM 2014-02-28T08:49:47-05:00 2014-02-28T08:49:47-05:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 66529

3ID Dog Faced Soldier! I remember as an incentive, my PSG would allow one person to be dismissed from PT following the Dogface Soldier Song and Reveille. That person was the one who sang the song the loudest. Needless to say, every morning the person who was least motivated to conduct PT was most motivated to sing until his lungs collapsed. It was entertaining and good for morale if nothing else.
