Which Division song will you always remember?

We've all been in different Division where we had to sing the Division Song right after Reveille. Which one will always be your favorite and will always remember, no matter where you go?

Dog Faced Soldier!  3rd ID - back when it was in Germany.  Had to sing it at the promotion board.

I don't know about the best, but I know my current unit's song is terrible. It's been edited so that it is literally "Strykerized"(not a word, but it's in there) because the unit was mechanized when they came up with it. I also dislike it because at certain points it that openly call out the Infantry, because, this was once a purely cav unit I guess. There's a line that says "Well we're glad to know the Infantry are behind us, they'll have to eat Cavalry dust just to find us..." It's terrible, and literally no one likes it.

My first unit - the 3rd ID! I'm proud to have been a Dog Faced Soldier, and didn't have a division song for 2 years after I left since I went to a TRADOC brigade. Since then I've been in the Warrior Division, and an artillery brigade attached to 1st ID. 3rd ID is what I consider my Army home, and my favorite division song.

I would say 3rd Infantry Division. On Ft Stewart everyone had to sing each morning after saluting the flag. I spent 4 long years there and don't think I will ever forget the Dog Face Soldier Song. For all of us that have been there, "Rock of the Marne"

I first learned the Ode to the Big Red One in 1992, and when I retired as the First Sergeant of Headquarters Support Company, 1st Infantry Division in 2012, we sang it at my retirement ceremony. It is the only division song that I know, but frankly, it is the only Division Song I care to know!

When I was in The 3d ID every workday started with the Dogface Soldier Song. I remember as an incentive, my PSG would allow one person to be dismissed from PT following the Dogface Soldier Song and Reveille. That person was the one who sang the song the loudest. Needless to say, every morning the person who was least motivated to conduct PT was most motivated to sing until his lungs collapsed. It was entertaining and good for morale if nothing else. I will never forget that song and to this day, two units later, I still carry the "Marne Standard" in my left breast pocket.

Dog Face Soldier when I was in 123rd Signal, 3rd Inf Div in Kitzingen Germany. When reenlistment time came I reenllisted in front of the statue of Rocky at Leighton Barracks, Wuerzburg.
