Calculating multi-serial convoys is pretty simple. Small groups of small numbers with gaps in between each. Not tough. Easy to recover from as well. Nothing too risky in the failure. Doctrinal attack and defend ratios are granted at 3:1 and 1:3 conversely. This is against the same type of force, but even then an Infantry Company with weapons support should be able to defend with anti-tank weaponry against an Armored Battalion. Too easy. Engineer obstacles are more complex depending on length, width and depth. Depending on single, double or triple. Depending on blade time to construct. Of the three, engineer obstacles are the most difficult to calculate and the most devastating if you fail to get it right.

I assume this is relative to engineering functions. I wouldn't pick any of those. Resource management will be the critical skill set for commissioned officers. When the missions start coming in hot and heavy, you need to be able to determine how you're going to execute the mission (if you can) within the time parameters.

MAJ Private RallyPoint Member - At least for the Army & Marines, I think everyone should know how to call for & adjust fire. Might not be a life skill... But, it'd certainly be a life-saving skill!
