The sound work done in that game was amazing and made full use of my surround sound in the barracks. There was one room that was creepy as hell. There were never any monsters in it, but you dreaded having to go through it because of the sound work done. I got my PADI Open Water Diver certification in June of 1982...when Jaws was on the forefront of everyone's minds and doing my open water certification was scary. Add to that the fact that my area in Southern California has been plagued by Great White Shark attacks, and the fact that I surf (the majority of the attacks have been on surfers), and the whole thought of even entering the water scares me.<br /><br />That said, the movie The Exorcist scared me even more...and still does to this day. He tortured Jews in the concentration camps, and he tortured Dustin Hoffman by drilling into his un-anesthetized front tooth to elicit information. The Russians said if we nuked one of our own cities they would not retaliate with a full nuclear exchange... so a lone B-58 flies over NYC and drops the bomb. There is a scene just before detonation where the birds all take off...they sense it coming...<br /><br />The pilot then takes his...I will not be captured needle and pricks himself with it saying " A matador, a matador"...
