There are a LOT of &quot;ghetto knock offs&quot; on the internet. The one in the picture is the correct, NATICK approved model 1840 NCO sword. You can get a good one made in India for around $100 to $150 or a great one through Marlow White made in Germany which costs about $400. If you are a purist you might find one in good shape that is of American Civil War vintage for about $500.
