<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>necessary For who? When? The beauty of the handbook is the information is in there, ahead of time. It&#39;s there if you need it. If you don&#39;t, flip to the section you do need. Checklists are always good to jog memory. Condensed how tos are great for just in case things and things you do infrequently/never but have to be done quickly when it counts. <br /><br />I suppose this question is relative to why someone gets one and tries to use it. It may not Be all things to all people. I&#39;d say leave it alone. It has a prescribed purpose and just so happens to have a secondary market as a good doctrine/information source. Isn&#39;t it&#39;s principal purpose to be a course training aid for the Ranger School?
