I honestly think both parties do a pretty good job. The Republicans stand up for the military and veterans and the Democrats love to spend money on helping people so we seem to do ok no matter which party is in charge.

Do be honest. They both suck! Both claim to Support the Military but they both have the Political Heads so far up the 4th Point of Contact that they don't even stop arguing to take a breath of fresh air, let alone take care of our Military brothers and Sisters. So far, both parties have given false statements and promises to our Veterans that I don't care to hear what they say about it any more. Great questions MAJ Private RallyPoint Member!

Almost always the Republicans, but for now, the Tea Party segment with their inability to negotiate with the Democrats, has slowed the passage of bills in Congress.

Both parties stink at it, sir. Democrats love cutting military budgets, and the GOP controlled house voted this year to cut our yearly raises.

I'm glad to see the emergence of a third political party into the light, I would love to see a few more come out with varying agenda's.

In my humble observations over the years I've come to see that both parties claim whatever they like in order to appeal to their target demographic or constituency. However it has been individuals and circumstances that have done the most for the military. That old whole love us when we are needed forget and overlook us when we are not deal.

I'd say Republican. I served from 1985-2005 and at least with the Republican Party in charge we had parts and combat readiness. With Clinton, we forward deployed with 25% of our weapons out of commission due to lack of funding. Pay raises are nice but I'd rather be able to fight back if fired upon.

Nah , but here in the USA , there was the Bonus Army and the VFW remains. As to the Democracts and Republican Parties, they are two sides to the same two faced anti-american, anti-veteran, bunch of rich neocons and their rich liberal twins who care nothing for veterans and consider veterans a danger to their running of things. Remember" Richman's war, poor man's fight". Both want to pocket the profits of war and leave the veterans in the cold. Greed and self interested rich are both parties and they can both go to hell.

Truth is only veterans should have the right to vote, as they are the only ones who have earned the right AFAIAC
