Which PT events require a risk assessment be signed by the commander? Would practice of combative techniques be one of those?

More specifically speaking about section PT, not company PT. Also, it would be great if I can get a regulation for reference on the subject.

Every event/movement/training in the Army you do requires a DRA. DD Form 2977 is the form you will need.

It should be readily apparent that something like combatives practice for PT would require an assessment.
