A couple weeks later I went to the local Army recruiting station and talked to a recruiter. I don&#39;t remember the exact sequence but I signed a delayed entry enlistment contract for 12B Combat Engineer training. If I completed the training I would get a bonus of $2,500 which was a lot of money at the time.</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div>
