Which skill should the average person who enjoys playing basketball focus most on?

As much as I want to vote defense, you need to be able to move with the ball after you steal it.

As someone who used to enjoy playing the game, albeit not very well I would say that Game IQ is important. As others have said if you can handle the ball the rest will (may) come.
You don't need to score to enjoy or be a vital member to a pick-up team. If you can passably handle the ball, play defense, rebound a little, and know what to do you will be okay.

I think overall game IQ if I had to pick one talent. The other choices are one-dimensional and limits the player (although any player needs to be somewhat competent in all of these skills). I played one year of college ball and coached kids for 10 years. I prefer well-rounded kids to those with only one skill.
