I do a regular split but I'll start out working my way up to heavy working sets. 5x5, 4x6 depending on my the percentage of my max for working sets. After that I'll still hit the body part with progressive sets like a full workout. Its been a lot more fun and I get to lift heavy pretty much everyday. Been a real big fan of Corey Gregory's programs lately. His squat everyday for 5 weeks was insane, and I've also completed his 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 as well as his get swole with Corey Gregory program. While doing that I was also still doing crossfit 3 days a week. Cardio to get the blood moving and warm up then on to weights depending on what I did the prior evening. Mostly 3 sets of 15 for upper body of the highest weight possible or 3 sets of 20 for lower body at the highest weight possible. Bit my favorite gym machine is the assisted pull-up bar. I lower the weight as much as I can without hurting my shoulder too bad to strengthen them. If you do the workouts right then sure but them crossfitters have a reputation of terrible form and halfing all the movements required to complete that excersize. Now that's said I really enjoy following Kris Gethins workouts and also Dr. Layne Norton's PH3. I've done that and two of Kris Gethins I've lost 8% body fat and have gained 15 lbs of lean muscle in the past 8 months.
