While running in PT uniform and revelry sounds, stop and salute?

If a soldier is running in PT uniform and revelry sounds, does that soldier stop and salute?

Sorry but to me that is a silly question. Nowhere in regulations is there a caveat to not stop and render your salute if outside.

I can remember several occasions where we stopped the PT formation on a run and came to present arms.
Not saying that we were standing at the most rigid positions of attention, but it never occurred to us to not come to a halt quickly enough to render proper honors during reveille.
By the way, SSG Private RallyPoint Member, it is "reveille" that signals the start of the day. Revelry should have ceased several hours prior.

If you are running out of a formation yes, stop, face the music, and salute. If in formation, the leader halts the unit, faces the group toward the music, and commands, "Hand Salute"!

Just don't celebrate at "revelry."

yes it is the orders of the command, if you are on the base, you are to stop and give recognition to the colors as they are raised and when they are down for the day. Be blessed

If you are outdoors in uniform when "Reveille" sounds, you face the flag and salute. Is the PT uniform a uniform or not?

Look at the question…., see the word “uniform”??? If you are in uniform…, any approved uniform, you stop and render proper courtesy. Also, Im assuming you meant reveille, not revelry.
