They always ran my questions to ground, ensured my monthly payments went out, etc.Response by SFC Mark Merino made Jul 1 at 2015 4:31 PM2015-07-01T16:31:31-04:002015-07-01T16:31:31-04:00SR Private RallyPoint Member783979<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Typically, you can stop into any college or university in the area (I go to UW-Tacoma and PLU) and speak to a VA representative. There are also a few dedicated VA offices that can be found on their website for a POC. I am on mobile right now, or I'd grab those for you.Response by SR Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 1 at 2015 4:34 PM2015-07-01T16:34:58-04:002015-07-01T16:34:58-04:00GySgt John O'Donnell784011<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The best resource is the Veteran's Affairs Rep at the college/university you are planning to attend. All schools have a rep on staff, and they are there to ease your transition. I think it is state-wide but I know that at the University of Washington they will usually cut your Tuition costs in half. I don't know how the Post-911 works, as I have the MGIB-SR (1606), but it may help with any limits of how much they will pay.Response by SR Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 1 at 2015 6:24 PM2015-07-01T18:24:29-04:002015-07-01T18:24:29-04:00LTC Matthew Ferguson784396<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Carlos,<br /><br />I would recommend resources such as AMVETs, VFW or American Legion.<br /><br />V/R, MattResponse by LTC Matthew Ferguson made Jul 1 at 2015 7:24 PM2015-07-01T19:24:54-04:002015-07-01T19:24:54-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member784479<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If the Member has access to post I highly recommend going to the Stone Education center. It's on the road behind the National guard center that sits on 2nd and Pendleton. I have an appointment to go speak with an advisor soon!!
