Who can I contact with branch management for them to send me to AMEDD BOLC? How I can reserve a seat?

Has anyone attended AMEDD BOLC? I heard it is 3 weeks for reserves. I am trying to get in contact with branch management for them to send me to BOLC and how I can reserve a seat. Who do I contact for this?

I can’t speak on how to best get a seat- (would recommend the S3 section if you know your unit though). AMEDD BOLC is 8 weeks though, with a 3 week Direct Commissioning Course (DCC) prior to, and a 2 week nursing course / 66 series course after.

Contact your unit administrator or S3 for your unit and they can get you registered for phase 2 of BOLC. You will have to have completed DCC and BOLC phase 1 in order to register for phase II of BOLC.

Once you have completed DCC at Ft Sill, and BOLC A, your unit S3 can register you through ATRRS. Courses are running about 26 days, as I recall, for reserve officers.

Can't do much other than submit an ATRRS Application for your school through your Unit Training NCO, or Schools Person. They'll find an available seat, not sure who controls those seats, as AMEDD may control those seats now, however. You may have to speak with an AMEDD recruiter about this.

In the Guard we have branch reps that schedule BOLC. Not sure about reserves. Try contacting your ROTC HRA.

Did you get clarification on this? If you're in an MS AOC it's 2 months, in a clinical role it's the 3 week course. You'll want to go through your career manager to reserve a seat. They've shared a lot of info on the AMEDD Career Mgt symposiums recently.
