So what group do you think is the most elite military unit, SEALs, Rangers, Marine Force Recon, SAS, SBS, the Legion?
Tell which one you think is the best and why.

People will argue this to death. From people in the community I hear Delta Force guys are really unreal. I don't think French Foreign Legion really holds a flame to any of the other mentioned forces. Navy Seals are certainly the most elite authors (Joke)

Delta seems like the obvious pick, giving how it picks its recruits. I how ever would never want to cross the Seals either. As far as I stand it's one of those two. You really have to compare those two head to head

Different mission different scopes of operation none the less professionals and elite in their craft. I would say they all are great at what they do and we are blessed to have them on our inventory.

Navy Seals, no doubt! The Navy Seals are who the other teams look to for special ops training and for technical guidance. Their theater covers land, surface/subsea and air. Navy Seal resources far exceed the other forces in timely on-the- spot delivery of their "services". Who can dispute this? Who has paid the biggest price for their readiness? Who is forward deployed the most? Hands down, Navy Seals has my vote.

Its a tough question. The units that make up SOF, aka the "ELITE" units, are very specialized groups. They each have a purpose, and that specific purpose, hence why they are special and elite. DEVGRU is really good at DA, but not so good at CA, meanwhile CA is great at exploiting or eliminating civil vulnerabilities, but not so much on DA. So I feel the question needs more information, which group is the best at ______? Because most elite groups are bred for a one special thing.

I would have to disagree with anyone who says Navy Seals. Delta by far is the tip of the spear. I came from 1st ranger batt and have worked with both, have to say nobody comes close to delta. 6 has their specialty but it isn’t land warfare in the water I’m sure they can’t be touched. Bottom line is each unit is amazing at a certain mission.
