Today, I had a first time experience on RallyPoint. I started a discussion and tagged Humor and one other group besides survey. I put some historical information as background in the discussion and added some light humor to the post.
I know I am guilty of black humor in large part due to my experiences in the military. I know that sometimes my jokes fall flat. Is there a re-education camp for those of us who need lessons in humor?

I was voted down with no explanation. I don't remember the topic and I don't know who down voted me. Count me in for the ice cream!

Maj Kim Patterson, next time that happens, check their profile and see if they aren't newbies just learning the ropes.

As my British parents used to say "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream." I think it dated to their expereinces in England during WWII. For some reason reading your response brought that saying back to my memory from my youth Maj Kim Patterson

LTC Stephen F. I don't recall what I was voted down for, but it has happened a few times. I don't mind if the down vote comes with a comment explaining the reasoning. I may not agree, but I hate when people down vote, but don't say anything. I think it is more important to comment after a down vote than it is after an up vote.

Yep, a couple of times. But it's just lately. Who knows why? It might be because some people have no idea what the "Thumbs Down" is actually for. Oh well, who really cares anyways? You know what I always say, "fu-k it if you can't take a joke!"
