I enjoyed my time in the Marine Corps and it was one of the defining moments of my life. But as much as I loved the Corps, I couldn't see myself pumping gas for the next 25-35 years. So I crossed over to the Navy side of the house, serving as an Operations Specialist with detachments for the USS Bristol County and USS Copeland from 1993-1994. I was released into the IRR at the end of 1994 and finished my contract there. I returned to the service joining the Army in 2010 and continue to serve as a medic now. When I leave full time service with the Army I've toyed with the idea of going for a fourth branch and going into the Coast Guard Reserves or Air National Guard.  Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 10 at 2013 12:07 PM 2013-12-10T12:07:22-05:00 2013-12-10T12:07:22-05:00 SSG Chuck H. 18526 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>USAF 1983-1987 as an Aeromedical Technician (Flight medic in Barney terms)&amp;nbsp;&lt;div&gt;Army 2009-Present Network Switching Systems Operator, reclassed to SIGINT Analyst&lt;/div&gt; Response by SSG Chuck H. made Dec 10 at 2013 12:19 PM 2013-12-10T12:19:36-05:00 2013-12-10T12:19:36-05:00 CPT Keith Steinhurst 18537 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>A shout out to all of you former Marines and Sailors - face it, our time in the Naval Service made us more appreciative and gave us a perspective of doing more with less - so when it seems hard in the Army, well, there&#39;s hard, and there&#39;s rat_ _ _ _ed (fill in the blanks) hard.
