As CMC of USS Nashville (LPD-13) I can say she was used in a variety or missions. I do not think we ever went on a major deployment without a Seal Det. along as part of the crew and mission. At times we were used as a training platform for practice in taking over a ship at sea by both Seal Teams and Delta Force. Additionally, SBS used us as a launch and recovery vessel in the Med while working with our Seal Team. So, yes LPD-13 was working with and our crew spent time with NSW.
