If not she probably has that AEA code so that she is not sent overseas; therefore, eliminating the need for her to re-enter the US. While many of the AEA codes can only be adjusted by HRC, her local HR can adjust AEA code A if it is no longer correct.Response by MSG Gary Eckert made Sep 20 at 2019 8:01 AM2019-09-20T08:01:15-04:002019-09-20T08:01:15-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member5042677<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Soldier is a MAVNI and they're stabilized until a background check is completed. Even gaining citizenship won't suffice. This is part of the reason the MAVNI program ended.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 20 at 2019 10:40 AM2019-09-20T10:40:21-04:002019-09-20T10:40:21-04:00SFC Ralph E Kelley5043482<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Pretty sure it won't come off until you get the immigration thing straightened out. A local commander may have implemented the Code but DA has to remove it and they will not as long as the fix is not complete.<br />If you have complied with all the steps (or think you have) then I refer you to JAG.<br />If not? Then it's on you. Your JAG can still help you.Response by SFC Ralph E Kelley made Sep 20 at 2019 3:27 PM2019-09-20T15:27:14-04:002019-09-20T15:27:14-04:002019-09-20T01:28:35-04:00
