Who here likes the Miltary Channel?

I find myself more and more become an historian of the Military particularly WWII onward.   Do you have a favorite show and do you watch,  'An Officer and a Movie?

Military Channel is now American Hero Channel. I like the programming, but don't like the fact that the show are repeated ad nauseum; three or four shows and then repeated throughout the day! Not that I'm against religious programs, but what does the story of Christ have to do with the Military/American Hero Channel?

love the american heroes channel and especially love cold war history.

I really liked seeing Vietnam in HD on the History Channel. It was very deep and powerful for those involved in the series. There was a particular episode on Hamburger Hill that was awe inspiring.

I love that channel as well as the History channel and Discover channel. My wife and I are huge history buffs. Militarily, I love the Pacific side of WW2 especially since I was stationed in Okinawa and Korea. Overall, we have been to so many different historical places especially within the National park Services. Get yourself a Passport binder and have fun getting stamps. We have a total blast!!!

All I have is antenna now, but when I had satellite I loved watching any channel that dealt with history, especially military history. Now I just use the internet.

Definitely enjoy the military channel, along with History, H2, discovery, and National Geographic. I only wish the cable companies allowed for an al a carte selection of channels, these along with local stations would be enough for me (instead of having to buy the 200 channel mega plan to get the few channels you really want). end rant.

I used to watch it all the time. My seventeen year old daughter hated it. She was very happy when it was removed from our satellite package.

ME!!! I love it! We have it allowable to stream at work on the secret squirrel system... I have it as background noise... I find myself being able to recite random Hitler-related info that I never knew that I knew. :)
