Who on RallyPoint would you like to meet in real life?

I have met several members here, and of course, most of my contacts here I've known for a long time from before RP. One person and fantastic NCO that I had not met, was SSG V. Michelle Woods - so, shout out to her.

Some of those who I would like to meet, include (but are definitely not limited to): MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca, SMSgt Private RallyPoint Member, SFC Private RallyPoint Member, CPT Zachary Brooks, and John Russell.

I'd like to meet the top dogs - SFC Mark Merino and SSG V. Michelle Woods. The two guys who seem to be the co-founders of RP (sorry if I'm wrong about this) - LTC Yinon Weiss and CPT Aaron Kletzing. And then one other guy (no offense to anyone else, my list is not exhaustive either), but I'd like to meet SMSgt Minister Gerald A. Thomas, just because I think we have a lot in common and would have great discussions.

Good Question. I would like to meet several here. One member I would like to meet the most would be CPT Aaron Kletzing . I can only hope to met him at the next RPx. In addition to that I hope to meet MAJ Carl Ballinger . I hope I am able to link up with if my plans to come to Fort Hood work out.

I'd like to meet everyone who I have had great conversations with here on RP and especially the RP staff! Do we have an 8-digit grid and DTG on RPX15 so I can start planning and packing?

Apparently there are 197 folks who find me remotely interesting that have connected with me and so 3 down - CW3 Private RallyPoint Member, 1LT Private RallyPoint Member , LTC Private RallyPoint Member and 194 to go. Not to mention "Maurelli's minions" that aren't on RP yet but soon will be possibly with some command emphasis.

All, though we may have scared a lot of people at the 417th's holiday party away when they saw how overly-enthusiastic some us (no names LTC Private RallyPoint Member ) can be.

SFC Mark Merino . I want to be there with him on the day he hits a million for I predict one of several possible outcomes:

1. RallyPoint melts down and reboots itself because the designers didn't contemplate anyone reaching a million points so the score variable can only a number up to 999,999. Everyone starts again at 0.

2. Mark's account becomes "self aware" and morphs into a life form of its own - kind of a twist between "The Terminator" and "The 6th Day" both involving this dude named, "Ahnold"

3. Mark melts down due to the increased demand on the time to keep posting and responding :-)

4. A gaping hole in the time-space continuum opens up and sucks us all into some ultimate party universe in another dimension.

5. He finally gets the set of Ginzu steak knives and the camo Snuggie he was promised.

The possibilities are endless!!

I love you all....(some more than others). We're one big family, and everyone knows they have at least one crazy cousin or uncle within the family tree. I continue to meet great people with every contact I make. I spent the day talking to a new friend in Thailand, Korea, another in Guam, and several who spent time in Saipan. I get a real kick out of how RallyPoint has made the world seem so much smaller.

Gee there are so many interesting characters I would love to meet to share a drink with. Of course, there are times when we might not agree, but then again we are all allowed our opinions. So many to choose from, and I really have had time to sit and talk to anyone one on one.

With that said, just from watching the postings roll by MCPO Geen Treants, PV2 Lisa Wilcox, SGM Dan Coberly, 1Lt Eric Rosa, and there several more. Like I said, I haven't had the chance to really to get to know anyone, one personal story outside of Rally Point, so it would be hard to say for sure. What I have seen from the posting, spending time with anyone of you would be enjoyable, and enlighten of exchange of tall tales.

there are some very interesting people on here that I would love to have different interaction with. Some I would love to just meet and shake their hand and say thank you for what you do/have done. Some I would love to sit around have a cocktail and discuss whatever comes to mind. Some I would love to go swill some beer with and see what kind of trouble we can find. Some I would like to hit the open road with on my bike and take the next turn in the road. Some I would like to just hang around an play with their Toy Collections. Some I would love to go hit the range with. I do not think I will name any names, but if you think you fit any of these descriptions you are probably right. I really like most people on this site and would not mind any of you.

I would say that I have a new list of those that I would like to meet. At the top of my list is SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member. I sure I would hear some awesome stories. I would also like to meet SGT Private RallyPoint Member mainly to confirm that is her. With the ever changing pics you can never be too sure these days. COL Jason Smallfield, PMP, CFM, CM would be a good one to learn from. I am sure I would come away a better officer. Also, I would like to meet LTC Stephen C. as we are both alumni of the prestigious AMA. My final choice would be SMSgt Minister Gerald A. Thomas as he just seems to be a solid person and is well versed.

Warning to all of you who want to meet CPT Private RallyPoint Member in real life. I've know him for a while now and spending time with him is dangerous.

First, you must know that being too close to him for an extended period of time is bad for your vision; between his gleaming white teeth that are constantly exposed due to his always present smile and his blinding chest on his ASUs, you risk losing your eye sight!

Secondly, once after an eight mile run at IBOLC 1LT Rosa saw me vomiting over a railing from the third floor of the building he lived in and he laughed for at least twenty seconds before asking me if I was going to die. You would have expected a helping hand from another member of the Over-30 Club, especially considering that there were only four of us out of 182 Officers in our Company.

I'm warning you, don't get drawn in by his charm, knowledge, or charisma. He's an all around bad character...

It is a great opportunity to shake hands, share a drink (or two), and to hear great stories.

I share that for many years I volunteered as topic lead for CompanyCommand. I was fortunate to attend 4 of their annual conferences called rendezvous. It was always an impacting experience. The face to face made a huge difference.

If the time is right, I'd figure out a way to finance my way to a RP weekend.
