SSgt Private RallyPoint Member 3643283 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Does anyone have any insight on who owns squadron issued special duty uniforms? My OIC (civilian) wants to take back the uniforms I was issued 2 years ago since I am leaving the section. I have put money into them for rank changes and what not. But I cannot find an afi saying who the uniforms go to or if they can take them back. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a Marine, so my experience may not bear true in the USAF.<br /><br />Did you pay for them from your uniform allowance. If so I&#39;d say they are yours. <br /><br />If the unit supply issued them and you got them for the price of a signature on an issue card, I&#39;d say they belong to the unit. <br /><br />I&#39;m having a hard time imagining a supply issue item that a service member is allowed to personalize, even if it&#39;s only chevrons.
