My OIC (civilian) wants to take back the uniforms I was issued 2 years ago since I am leaving the section. I have put money into them for rank changes and what not. But I cannot find an afi saying who the uniforms go to or if they can take them back. If anyone deals with this or can point me to the right regulation, it would be much appreciated. If so I'd say they are yours.

If the unit supply issued them and you got them for the price of a signature on an issue card, I'd say they belong to the unit.

I'm having a hard time imagining a supply issue item that a service member is allowed to personalize, even if it's only chevrons.
