When I was young we played cowboys and Indians in the suburbs of Philadelphia in the 1960's. Sometimes I was on the side of the cowboys and sometimes I was an Indian - I can't remember why unless we just took turns.
This was long before political correctness was a concept :-)
I don't know if children still play games such as cowboys and Indians anymore.
I had fond memories of playing with my friends.

Yes I remember playing that. I was always an Indian because the Cowboys sucked even back then. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

I could not resisted the temptation of poking fun at the Dallas Cowgirls.. :) I'm sure I'll get some down votes as a result. :)

MSgt (Join to see) - I hope you don't get any down votes. I always add humor as one of the topic groups in my discussion so that people can mix serious and humorous responses with no fear of retribution, hopefully :-)

LTC Stephen F. - I lived on a farm and grass rope was plentiful, along with good boughs to make bows and arrows. My arrows didn't have "stoppers" on the end.

SSgt Terry P. - I expect there was fear and trembling when you pointed your arrows at the "enemy" :-)

LTC Stephen F. - Since they only had cap pistols in the earlier "attacks",yes, but later with BB guns, they became a lot more brave. We were lucky kids to have survived without real injuries.

SSgt Terry P. - I am glad you survived both the childhood games and your military service.
