Everyone is different. I would 100% choose one leg tuck over the minimum plank, each are 60 points. However, some individuals would say the same for the plank. If people were failing it left and right they wouldn't have bothered changing it.

Now, in terms of WHICH exercise I plan, it will be mood based. Plank is PASS/FAIL with a minimum 60 points, yes? I can do 1 or 2 extra leg tucks which would be a few more points, but at no point will I try and do my best at any given event at the cost of failing any of the other events.

So............. that said............ getting 60x6 is far better (100x5)+59, and knowing I don't know the unknowns in terms of trying to do a full ACFT in a tested environment I'm going to choose the path that ensures an event is passed with the least amount of effort and just move on.

A perfect ACFT score is worth a mention in an OER, but can be bested by someone who knocked out PME in the same rating scheme who barely passed ACFT but passes nonetheless. A failing ACFT is lethal and results in a referred Evaluation and can't counter someone who finished PME, planned an entire exercise from beginning to end, and had actions that resulted in hundreds of millions of tax payers savings and improved operational practices.
