The only way the VA will get the long overdue cleansing it requires to appropriately care for our fellow comrades is to clean house, apply the evidenced based quality practices, uphold the standards of care, hold others accountable, document &amp; terminate. Just like we do on the civilian side. Additionally, they need to not sit their axx&#39;s in their IVY Tower, must visit EVERY VA facility, walk the halls, talk to the rank, file and patients. Would save millions of $ vs. hiring some overpaid consultants, that will only produce pretty power points, telling them what we already know. I would welcome that position in a heartbeat. I am not recommending anyone in particular but a good example would be FL gov. Rick Scott who was CEO of Columbia HCA.
