But as soon as I posted my question, the similar discussions block on the right hand side listed half a dozen discussions all regarding the same topic. It could simply be a glitch in the search parameters. I wouldn't say that the topics aren't being monitored, more likely the discussions aren't searchable. Admins do watch for this, but they&#39;re here on a volunteer basis and can&#39;t catch them all. Some slip through the cracks, and once they&#39;ve developed a life of their own generally they stay up even if they are near identical to another topic. It is an issue we strive to address, but it's not a perfect system. They are overpaid!!! Repeat topics are all but completely ignored unless you are on someone's radar screen. Under the old system previous threads would pop up when you entered the subject line, and it was easy to see if it had been posted before. Now one does not get that checkpoint.<br /><br />I don't know how to check to see if a link has been posted previously if it doesn't pop up in the first few threads under "Answers" &gt; "New".
