Am I alone or do you feel that we (regardless of political party preference) are defending political leaders even when we know they are wrong? In some states and counties, voters are being asked to sign a political pledge, why should we or should we?

I don't officially claim a party but the two major ones are becoming so polarized I fall to the right 99 times out of 100. I'd love to have another option. Like maybe the Common Sense Party.

To be honest, I dislike both parties. It's like clowns vs assholes.

It is sickening. Of course because it is an election year, only those stepping down will stand up against their party. Not many republicans are acting on whats right.
Not picking on republicans only here, the other party is just as guilty.
