And hate when other who deserve from hard work get something they don't! Agreed, it's a shame! Why, indeed. At least people (like the newscaster and the police) cared enough to help this man move to what will hopefully be a safer location for him.

I just finished writing about internal drive (it was the Pat Tillman scholarship discussion thread). This man is the embodiment of internal drive. Would it be sociologists? Maybe psychologists? Somebody should study this and determine what sets apart this man from so many of his neighbors and peers.

I'm kind of "in love with" this story, but I didn't know about the recent turn. Thanks for sharing it, and let's hope this clears the way for James Robertson to move forward, unencumbered by the jealousy and greed displayed by his neighbors, "friends," and acquaintances. We (society, Government, etc.) has allowed this to happen. Why have personal responsibility when you NEVER have to work for it. We have created a large portion of society that thinks they are 'owed' something just because. It is shameful that people feel it appropriate that they are entitled to ANYTHING that this man has earned or given. Until we start holding people accountable for their own choices and actions, this trend will probably continue...so sad.
