Why do girls and women join the Isis terror group?

Do they think only men suffer emotionally when their brothers, fathers, wives, uncles, children ... are killed and that only men want revenge? Do they think only men need to provide for their families? Do they think only men are afraid that if they do not follow orders their families will be harmed? Do they think only men recruit?

Obviously lied to. When these mostly very young and impressionable ladies desire to join the IS, I would assess that many of them are promised love, children, protection, family, etc. What they aren't told of course is that they are raped and passed on to the rest of the organization as sex slaves. Of course there are many female terrorists as well that are just as extreme if not more extreme than their male counter-parts. Many, many, female suicide bombers in Africa, especially in countries like Nigeria. But again many girls that are kidnapped are strapped up with explosives and forced to walk into crowds and either blow themselves up or are remote detonated. It's very sad.
