<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The badge with the chord is the German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship or the Schtzenschnur while the one without the chord is the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge. The first as stated is awarded for Marksmanship with a pistol, rifle and machine gun while the proficiency badge is awarded for completion of a basic fitness test with several events and military training which includes a 100 meter swim for time, first aid, pistol qualification and ruck march for time and distance.
