Why does RallyPoint allow individuals to join this group using the name, "Anonymous?"

They don't. It's a user setting that anyone can set to multiple layers of who can see them. You can, too. Rest assured, so long as their icon is green, they're verified.

They dont join as anonymous, Admins see their names.. They join under thier real name and choose to not display their real name. While I dont agree with it, the fact is still, they dont join anonymously.

I can kinda see it for people who are still serving but if you are separated or retired I don't

I know I'm much less likely to vote up on something an "Anonymous" person posts.

Sgt Joe LaBranche I simply do not open any of those "ANONYMOUS" posts. If someone needs to be that private, they shouldn't post on RP!

Kinda Wondered the same thing...
But Just Figured some of the Folks were still on active duty and wanted to remain Anonymous to prevent reprisals...

It is nice to know they are verified, I will admit that I read or respond to very few "Anonymous" post or comments.

Funny, I was going to push back on the anonymous comments. But then I realized that some folks have real basis for concern for sharing opinions when it could put their career in jeopardy. We all yearn for the ability to observe free speech even when there is disagreement. So long as folks are being respectful and not hiding bad behavior behind the anonymity, I'm good with it.
