The CENTCOM portion that you refer to is basically a spin off of the DFAS regulation which entitles you to tax exempt pay for the whole month regardless of how many days there in a combat zone. Your overseas service bars are based off what is on your ERB (provided that it is correct) and not "what the reg states" as you put it.<br /><br />14 Days or less is not a month<br />15 Days plus is a whole month as it pertains to NCOERs, service bars etc.
