You need to complete 36 months of a active duty to receive 100% of your GI Bill.
If you do have 36 months, go to the "Ask a Question" section of the VA benefits website and provide your DD 214's and signed AD orders.Response by 2LT Private RallyPoint Member made May 8 at 2019 11:33 PM2019-05-08T23:33:06-04:002019-05-08T23:33:06-04:00PO3 David Mabo4616828

Which GI Bil are you using? VEAP basically tripled your money, so you put in a maximum of $2700, and they eventually paid you $8100. They let you pay in between $25 and $100 per month. What they didn't tell you up front was that they only paid it back out at the rate you paid it in. Since I was single and could afford it, I put in $100 per month. My friend who was married put in $25 per month.

When I went to college, I got $300 per month until the fund was tapped out. My friend, on the other hand, had the intention of going to college part time... until he learned the details. He would only be eligible to get $75 per month -- except only going part time, they'd cut that in half. So after years of paying $25 per month, he'd only be eligible to get $37.50 going to school part time.

My friend was SOOOOOOOO pissed! He pulled all of his money out of VEAP and never wasted his time with it again.Response by SSgt Christopher Brose made May 9 at 2019 1:27 AM2019-05-09T01:27:56-04:002019-05-09T01:27:56-04:00PFC Edward Mott4617192

What it sounds like it's that you're enrolled in one class?
