<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Trackin, but why would they drop a 40hr course? They did the same thing to UPL. Both are important Army programs, soldiers should be compensated for missed time they could have to do other things.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>To my understanding, all new soldiers graduating from basic training are required to be Combatives Level 1 certified and it may have a direct impact on the value of the course when looking at promotion. <br /><br />Since all soldiers are required to have it, it&#39;s no longer an &#39;additional skill&#39; for the army.
