Honestly it allows for those who have served to share the past and those serving the opportunity to share something other than what the media puts out there. It allows brother and sisters of arms to remain forever in touch and communicating the profession of arms regardless of the level of training or rank achieved. Normally from what I have seen is that those "WHO CARE" actually make it work. Hats off to all!

I feel this gathering place is more than just a community for all of us service members. I personally have learned a ton I did not know about the other branches of the military (and the coast guard) Tat I would have never known otherwise. I as very leery at first about joining the site, but I have realized that it was a good decision. I think the experiences we all have in our day-to-day service is crucial to each and every person within the service, regardless of their rank and experiences they have had so far.

It is a nice way to connect with old friends and build a new relationship with others.

We find that some of us have shared experiences during our military careers without realizing it.

At times our experience and knowledge can provide help for this community

RP point is 99% collegial with common experiences and the members are supportive. We have many members who bring unique perspectives to the site.
