I volunteer to be in the Army. The government pays me. The government has legislated charity in the form of socialist programs paid for by money taken out of my paycheck that pay lazy people to do nothing. Therefore my time has been donated and my money has been donated. Not much of a discussion left to have.

When the governments stops legislating charity (for me its about 25%) then the church will get it's 10% back. Some politicians are proposing a 10-15% flat rate tax, that would free up that extra 10% for churches. We just need to stop voting for Liberals that think everyone deserves everything for free from the government. Where does your post mention anything about differentiating between Active or Reserves or Retired? Where in my post did I say that my comment was meant for only AD? You're making assumptions that haven't been expressed or implied. Nice to see that you are all "laffs".
