SSG Robert Burns brought forward this article about Colonel Robert Howard. http://qpolitical.com/gave-battlefield-now-story-finally-told/
If you haven't heard of him to put things simply, this man is a legend. He is a recipient of the Medal of Honor and almost every other medal in the book including eight Purple Hearts. Even though he received the MOH once, he was nominated three separate times. Now I've heard of Dan Daley and how he received two MOHs I'm just wondering why that rule changed so that a person can now only receive one per lifetime? It seems to me that these medals aren't awarded for fun times and if someone goes through the Hell to even be nominated for the MOH that they shouldn't be rejected because the individual has already received the award. Just wondering everyone's thoughts on this subject.
