I recommend moving during the schooling. The pipeline begins with several schools, not just one, in Pensacola. There's Aircrew Candidate School, Rescue Swimmer School, and then Class "A" school. She's looking at approximately a year there. Then, she'll get orders to a Fleet Replacement Squadron in either Norfolk or San Diego to get qualified in the aircraft. That's another year. So definitely just get an apartment to crash in, in each area you go, where it's close to base but you can still go out to enjoy the area. If you have any further questions let me know.

You'll probably be in Pensacola for a year, so find a lease on an apartment that supports that if you decide to move. Your spouse will absolutely be able to come home, but that's something she will have to sort out with her chain of command upon checking in. Usually they're very supportive and helpful. She should be able to surpass the liberty policy they have in place for Rescue Swimmer candidates in a student status. The married guys I went through Rescue Swimmer School with were able to do so, so it shouldn't be any different now. Any questions either of you should have I'll answer to the best of my ability.

Well, that's good to know I think that she's wanting me to stay here so she can stay focused. Because the navy will not move me out there with her. The people that were married did they have there spouces already there?

How long is the school? Do you think you will be there for a couple years?
