I do feel there will always be racist folks out there and that there is a very small chance that racism will ever fully disappear. But I wonder if there is any chance that our nation can move past prejudice, racism, and racial profiling. What are your thoughts RP family?

The answer is no. Political parties use race as a tool to divide the people. Is affirmative action a racist policy? Are hate crime laws racist? As long as politicians continue to use race as a weapon, we will not see a change. The People are either all equal under the law or as we saw this week with Dr. Ford some have special privileges due to a demographic factor that politicians use to gain an advantage.

Is there a nation that anyone would point to as being post-racial, perhaps as a model for the US to learn from?

No, as long as their are people out there that continue to perpetuate the problem.
