Will Disabled Veterans Ever Get More Than A COLA Raise?

Congress talks about it every year and every year for the last 10 it is just a COLA same as Social Security. Do you think one will ever come as a Life Comfort increase or of any kind. Any ideas how we could get one?

I don't see it happening. Not anytime in the foreseeable future anyway.

The real question is will someone ever make it through the stacks awaiting disability ratings before everyone in said stacks is dead. So I guess my response is "Not in this lifetime."

This is going to depend on our next Commander in Chief. Clinton would probably keep the status quo. I believe that Trump does care for our Veterans, he makes it one of his main talking points. Will he deliver? That remans to be seen. It's just with Clinton, I don't feel very optimistic.

Until we can force THEM to only get COLA raises, I don't think it will happen. See, as a Disabled Vet, they don't feel I should expect more from them than they're already giving (BTW, that picture is 3 years old. I'm in a wheelchair now). Okay, so, I got a VA Loan for my house, they're paying for the wheelchair ramp and the bathroom remodel, and I may wind up in back surgery again. I actually had one VA clerk tell me that the VA employees needed raises more than we do.
