Will getting braces make you class 2 or class 3?

I was a Child when I got Braces and I still remember the Pain of the First Time they tightened them Bastards, I cried myself to sleep. I hear these days it is a much better experience, I hope it is since my Grandchildren seem to all have inherited Grandpa's Wesling Overbite.

Definitely Class 2, due to the fact that their MAY be a dental emergency in the future. However I would doubt a class 3, considering you could go long periods without them causing a major issue.

I would just goto medical and find out.

I was lucky to have them when I was 15. I would assume you would be a Class II because you're having work done to them; just like someone with fillings, they can be considered Class II as well. It's nothing serous to be a Class II; take care of yourself and you'll be fine.

Active orthodontic treatment does not necessarliy change your DRC (Dental Readiness Classification), but does make you "non-deployable" from the standpoint that you would need bands/brackets removed and retainers prior to deploying.

Braces doesn't affect dentail readiness, as stated makes you non- deployable.
